I havent been on in a while so excuse me if this has already been talked about...

Is anyone else surprised that our consistency has come from the OLINE?!! At the start of the season, this was my biggest concern! With the exception of McKinney, i am very pleased with this offensive line and would like to see if they can keep it together next season. Houck did an amazing job taking nothing and making it into something pretty good. Very few sacks and more time to throw than thought was possible! As i stated earlier, i am over McKinney and demand this team get another center PRONTO!! (yea like what i think matters  )

Yup it's done pretty solid although the pass protection got quite a bit owned in Oakland but wasn't really touched upon due to the way the phins D-line rocked Oakland's OL.

The only issue is that Ronnie/Ricky can't get any running done to the outside still and the OL schemes are very simple 'block the man in front of you' types. So there's still some room for some large improvement.

The problems we had last year stemmed in part due to the fact that the line was new to each other. Although you may have exceptions the vast majority of times you have that happen you have a weak line. Houck has done a great job but the fact that the line had a full year under its belt helped just as much.

o-line has been respectalble.....hope Hadnot is ok....he's been really good inside...

Right now I dont care if we get any new o-lineman. Well maybe some decent backups but they are playing so good right now, we could actually look at our other needs.

Mckinnley is not a very good center. He is the weak link in the line at this point. he is getting the job done right now so I wonder if a Center is high on the to-do list?

yes i 2 myself hated Seth but at least he the guy has been playing well and doesnt get Penalties im very happy with what he has been doing latly and i say we keep him so we can spend more money on stuff we need AKA a CB and QB.

What do you mean no penalties?! He had two in the game against Oakland!! It is a pressing need that we have a better center. Less bad snaps, less false starts and holding calls (which he has many) and better blocking. I'd say thats pretty pressing.

You can't have consistant play from an O-line without good play from the center. I'm sure fans love to pile on at the chance to bash McKinney...but, if you actually watch how the guy is playing...McKinney is getting the job done. It ain't always pretty, but he is doing a pretty good job at that critical position. It only takes one player on the O-line to make the whole line fail...McKinney is holding up well and this is certainly not the time to trash his success.

Im not trying to trash his success... but i am stating the obvious.. he is not great. Sure he is doing his job and thats all we can ask from a mediocre football player. But what i am saying is that he is the weakest link and really the only spot that needs improvement by adding a different guy. If you like mediocre play then hey.. maybe we should keep Seth. If you like penalties... then yes lets keep him! He makes as many mistakes as he makes good plays and thats just not good enough in the NFL. Sorry to break it to you.

Well, I guess you haven't been watching the games either cos Seth's been playing real good...In fact, most people on here feels that he's our most improved player and he's been our best lineman all year.

Ozzy rules!!

Sorry you were so misinformed Danny... honey i have season tickets as many do on here (maybe even you) so the "you havent been watching the games" remark is way off. He is far from being the "most improved" player if he is the most penalized offensive lineman we have! I have spent time at the games just watching him and seeing where he is because i hate not liking a dolphin player. For the people that know me on here, i am the optimistic one but when i see something, i say it. I see this guy has improved since last year but i still see a weak link. Compariable to other center's in the league... he is at the bottom of the list and we can improve is all im saying.
