O-Line....what can be done

Ok after watching just the first half it is quite obvious we have a MAJOR problem on the offensive line. I know Long is not in there but even when he come back, it does nothing to upgrade the right side. The Carey/Colombo combo is just atrocious. Every snap it seemed like guys were running free in that side. ABSOLUTELY no push in the running game and I can't even count how many times Henne had to step up in the pocket because of Colombo's man getting pressure.

I have no answer. I can't see us putting Murtha at RT because he definately does not seem to be much of an upgrade. Maybe Carey back at RT? That doesn't seem to be the answer either because of his health, that's why they moved him in the first place. I am just stumped!
 
I think our only chance is Jerry at RG, Carey sucks. Garner at RT Colombo sucks. I'm not saying they're upgrades but something needs to be done.
 
I wish I could see the game, but I still think moving Carey to RG was a mistake.
 
Both Columbo and Murtha are getting abused out there. There's no pocket for Henne to throw from but to Henne's credit he's been getting rid of it pretty quick and he's audibled a few times. 10-12 for 175 yards and 1 TD is solid, solid numbers from Henne. If not for the Marshall fumble we'd be up 17-3 probably at the half.

Incognito is getting pushed back, Carey is getting pushed back on occassion, Pouncey has actually anchored well...on the running plays we're not opening any holes and I'm not sure why we haven't run outside with a toss play cause their whole line is clogging up the middle. We need to loosen them up inside and take advantage of Bush's speed and run a toss play. Both guards and Colombo are playing bad...they look overmatched. Long will only improve the blind side but that's not going to help Colombo with pass protection.

They should put Nate Garner in at RG and rotate Carey and Colombo at RT until one of them steps up and take the job.
 
Im sorry Columbo cant cut it at RT. Henne needs time. Carey Back to RT Garner at RG? or O hara comes in and plays RG? IDK but something has to be done. . . DAMN YOU JERRY FOR NOT COMMITTING YOURSELF TO YOUR CRAFT!!!
 
We desperately need Ohara to take over the rg spot and put murtha at rt

small problem, Jerry isn't making the team. Too fat. He will be cut
