Something very odd happened in that first series, something I had not seen before. They say it's called "a clean pocket". I would like to see more of this mysterious thing, please.

No problems in pass protect. Got a bit of movement on the run but, needs to improve. Sims was left and right on a few runs, and saw his blocking improvement over last year. Saw Shelly end of the half, looked OK on the pass, and a nice push on a run block Good to see the lack of penalties with 5 new guys. Haven't watched the second half yet. We'll know a whole lot more vs TB next week.

Starting oline played 10 plays . . . the first series was 10 plays and resulted in a TD . . . . yea they looked good.

The right side of Satele/Thomas/James played the entire first half. Overall, a good job considering this line is a work in progress

Juwan James played into the 3rd quarter and had an overall real solid night. The holding calls didn't start until he left the game.

NFL.com has an article on the Dolphins and several other games last night. The article has some embedded videos the first being the Dolphins. It has highlights of the first drive so you can see the solid pass pro and not too bad run blocking.

Nice showing even if the veteran defenders are just going through the motions. Here is a link. If it doesn't work hopefully someone can post it correctly. It's not to hard to find. The article is about Lazor.

Shelly came in for Colledge around half way into the 2nd quarter.

What was confusing is that Shelly came in with seconds to go in the first but, we punted, and Colledge came back on the next series.

Watched the second half, and Shelly looked good, although vs 2nd team. I think the LG is still open.
