Well, Perhaps Banks wasn't doing as well as we all hope or thought he was. Lowe seemed to be behind him and he, at least, had a claim put in for him. Hopefully, other teams are just overlooking him and he can come back here later in the season.

I read somewhere that Banks made a couple of angry comments about the coaches after the cut, so maybe he won't be back. Real shame though.

Since we signed Roundtree, that is likely an indication we think he has more upside than Banks - unless, of course, we tried to sign Banks and he declined, thinking that one or two teams would be interested in him.
I imagine some of these guys will take a week or so and look around if they get some positive feedback from other teams.
The thing that happens every year is that there's always one or two roster shuffling moves in the first week or two, as players come back from injuries and other talent pops up on the radar screen.
