OBJ At Peace as #3 WR

Yeah I felt that as well.

Big time add, based on his age and timeline of his last injury this should be a great year for him physically.

Don’t think our fan base in general sees how big this can be for our offense but imo he’s going to impact us positively very much.

The physicality, the hands, the ability to get off the line in man and good speed, in the middle of the field, he’s going to be very effective for us.

And if one of our outside guys misses games he can replace them and our stud rookie can replace him in the slot
 
I really don’t see why anyone would be surprised that he is comfortable being the #3 WR in Miami. He knew when he signed with the Dolphins that Hill and Waddle were #1 and #2. He also realizes that his days as the #1 WR for a team ended a few years ago.

He is not the same diva player he was with the Giants and Browns and he proved that in his time with the Rams and Ravens. The Dolphins needed a solid #3 WR and that is exactly what they got when they signed Beckham.

Totally agree with this. He will make our WR room more explosive, and according to what some of his teammates said he will be a good mentor for the Washington brothers.
 
I can't imagine he'd think he was coming in as the top receiver on that contract. Anyone who thought that has a bias.

You guys really think a 32 yr old wr, who multiple GMs around the league said, has lost a step, is gonna come in here and put up 1,000 yards or something.

It's hilarious to me, but I hope you guys are right. Maybe we do live in a game of Madden, where we can just go into edit mode and change his speed, acceleration and release stats.

Forget the fact that in 2022 Waddle had more yards than Odells had in four years. Or the fact that in 2023 Tyreek had almost 500 more yards in one season, than Odells had in four years & more touchdowns.

If Odell gets to 500 yards it would be amazing. I hope he does, but we drafted a dude, who, out of the box is better than Odell is right now.

If we get 500 yards out of him that is a success and we had a great season. As long as he didn’t replace an injured waddle or hill

Agreed, I still doubt he gets any where near the amount of snaps that warrant the excitement surrounding the guy.
