I was thinking about ordering a custom jersey, and getting one with the name and number of some obscure Dolphins player. Supposedly you can't order a jersey with the name of number of actual players, but I doubt they check every possible historic combination. So while they might catch McDuffie / 81, because it's so well known, I'm thinking some other ones might slip through and would be cool.

So my first two thoughts are a either a DeBerg / 17 jersey, or a Parmalee / 30
jersey. What do you guys think? And what would you get if it were going to be somebody who was not a "famous" dolphins player?

I have a Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and OJ Mcduffie and i still wear it...

Rusty Chambers, Duriel Harris, Terry Kirby, Crash Jensen, Marco Coleman, Fulton Walker, Troy Stradford, Mike Charles, Don McNeal, Reggie Roby, Ferrell Edmunds, just off the top of my head. Rusty Chambers is my personal favorite - simply an outstanding linebacker in the Shula defenses of the late 70's and early 80's. Vastly underrated and simply a great player. Kirby is another who gained more fame in SF but was a true Shula gem who often made the most of being Marino's escape valve. Good luck...

Dwight Stephenson was always one of my all time favorite Dolphins. in my bias opnion best NFL center off all time, all due respect to Mike Webster.

I watched a Miami game on tape earlier with DeBerg playing against the Giants. From 93 season i think. He took a serious smack in the mouth and had to leave the field with blood over his jersey. Came back in. We lost the game but he showed serious guts for a 39yr old. If i could have a jersey i think a Bruce Hardy jersey. Dont ask me why, just always liked him.

I actually saw a Parmalee jersey on ebay yesterday, I think it was pretty cheap too.
