CK, Gus was a pro bowl player in DC one year, you don't get rid of pro bowl players unless they go way down and he did, he's good in practice because a lot of team have been dupe by him, you know the list of teams, he's been a backup QB for a reason....I don't see how you can sit there and say you've seen enough of AJ, when he really hasn't been given the reigns to lead this team for a complete year and in one system for 2 years. Hell it took Brees 4 years to breakout, Manning took 2 years in the same system, Bret Farve took 3 years to break out, 1 in ATL, 2 in GB. AJ has played as well as Gus, you yourself wrote up a report last off season why you thought AJ was the better QB and the potential he had, yes you wrote it with your breakdown and everything...then he gets behind our poor OL last year and didn't get to show everything, he didn't get the full offseason with the number 1s last year nor this year, Saban and Wanny=same on that front. You name a qb, stick by him until he gives you reason not to. Saban sabotagse (sp) this thing the minute he signed Gus, AJ is human and he had to feel the negatives of this. If you don't build you QB's confidence with reinforcement, he's always looking over his shoulders, hince your he doesn't throw the deep ball enough, would you, if everything you did is magnified more than the other QB signed. AJ only started one time this ps, and only for 10 minutes of the first quarter, Gus has started the rest of the PS and has don't nothing better than AJ in the first game. Hasn't shown any improvement from one week to the next. Yet he gets the benefit of a doubt each and every week. You've seen the best of Gus Period, I don't know what AJ's best is, because he's not allowed to play. You don't know what AJ 's best is either because he hasn't been given the chance to develope.
Having said that, I will support AJ until the first game, then whoever starts is fine with me as then I'll be pulling for the fins, but I can tell you, you've seen the best of Gus.
