Observations from the Dolphins' 10-6 win Thursday:

The biggest nugget of news from Thursday is the Brian Hartline summed up the second receiver's job.

If anyone thought coming into training camp that Chad Henne was going to push Chad Pennington, that thought is gone. On Thursday, Henne completed two of eight passes for 52 yards. He also had four sacks and an awful interception when the Dolphins were driving deep in Tampa Bay territory. That means he's been intercepted twice and sacked six times in three part-time preseason stints. Not good enough.

* Greg Camarillo looks closer to being ready, catching two passes for 52 yards. But Patrick Turner didn't catch a pass in what has become a disappointing end to a big beginning of the summer for him.

* This game showed why the NFL soon will go to 18 regular season games and people will applaud (perhaps outside the players and coaches, of course). A sloppy game that looked like its meaningless value was understood plenty by the players.

* You can worry some about the secondary. Matt Stovall (20 career catches) tore it up with six catches for 73 yards in the first half. And it should've been worse. Tampa Bay quraterback Byron Leftwich missed some easy passes in the first half.

is it me or did the defense have a vanilla look to it... they played man to man and not cover 4 like it is said they will play in the regular season!!!
