I'd like to start by stating that I don't really post here very often, but spend a great deal of time reading the different threads. I was lucky enough to have 50 yard line seats, about 11 rows up, on the Dolphins sideline. I actually spent a great part of the game observing little nuiances of the Dolphins team: (I do have many pictures, but can't figure how to upload the pictures in the forum)
  • John Beck spent most of the game studying pictures and actually spent more time (then Henne) with Pennington reviewing the defensive schemes.
  • Coach Sparano spent a large part of the afternoon by himself with very few coaches or players around him.
  • Ronnie and Ricky were often inseparable on the sidelines.
  • Ted Ginn Jr was often talking and pumping up the defensive players.
  • I saw great cohesiveness between the offensive and defensive players. More than in previous coached teams.
  • Channing Crowder is constantly talking, and whipping his hair back and forth. He was smiling, laughing, and keeping other players relaxed. He seemed like a good team leader on the sidelines.
  • Outdside of conversations with John Beck, Pennington spent a lot time by himself, away from the offensive line and running backs.
  • Wilford is a giant, but useless. He had very little "fire" on the sidelines and sat on the bench while others watched the game.
  • Allerman wears his pants really high: "high waters bigtime" (my wife).
  • Fasano spent a large part of the day blocking; not much as a recieving TE.
Well, if someone can help post my pictures, I would gladly share some of the behind the scenes pictures. :beer1:

Sounds like the coaching staff has over come a few battles on their way to making a team that can eventually competet with the better teams in the league. Like winning the TO battle, having an efficient red zone offense, having veteran leadership that will help develop a young QB and having an all around good attitude about the game. There's no doubt in my mind this coaching staff is 99% of the reason we are winning....at all. Some will say it's Chad and he's been great, but he wouldn't be able to help this team if they didn't have their heads on right to begin with.

What help do you need??? I would be thrilled to see the pictures.

too bad beck sucks on the field because he seems like a really smart guy who really wants to do well.

I was no more than 50 ft. from you. 45 yrd line row 14. Good showing for the fins!

So your opinion of Beck is formed from how he played last year with a 1-15 team as a rookie and this year in preseason as we added a whole new system. You think Beck sucks based on that, I guees if you don't light up the league the very second you take a snap from center, you suck!!:rolleyes2:

Then again, Joey Porter sucked until he got 14.5 sacks, now he's a beast in the midst of his best season ever. Gotta love how people see the game of football.

I'd have no problem having all three quarterbacks back next pre-season. I still would prefer to have Pennington as our starter and let Henne and Beck learn from this absolute Professional. Beck has been a good team player; he hasn't been a distraction and from all reports he continues to learn, grow and work hard.

The way I see it, we've got three solid quarterbacks and the luxury of time to let the young ones grow. Now all we need is a younger nose tackle, some more depth on the offensive line, one solid DB and one linebacker. We have a solid front office and coaching staff. It's all good.

Many thanks claytonduper. THIS is the kind of post I love to read. Insight that you can't get any other way. I have had this weird feeling ever since the draft that Henne doesn't want to be in Miami. He seemed distant and cold when they talked to him on draft day and these little things like you mention just seem odd. I hope I'm just paranoid and that he LOVES being a Dolphin. Does anybody else ever get that feeling about Henne?

On draft day I certainly did. Actually in all of his interviews he seems that way.

i'm pretty sure this is how you post pictures.

1. go to site like photobucket and upload pictures
2. go to direct link under photo and copy address of image from photobucket
3. when hitting the reply button push go to the option insert image. should look kind of mountain at the top of the grey reply box.
3. paste address of image

I'm not to worried about Henne...I think that he is upset that he wasn't taken in the first round there were talks about him being the best quarterback in the 07 draft if he would have come out early. So i would be a little upset waiting to be taken and lose out on millions of dollars.

I was in the endzone at the game and all i saw was the fact that Joey Thomas played a lot in the game and got lit up on every play. The man is god awful and hopefully will not be in a Miami uniform next year.

dude i think you are paranoid bro. i mean dude might not talk a lot. dudes a rookie and might not have let himself open up yet to the media. dude might be shy. or ur right and the dude doesnt want to be here. but thats neither here nor there at the moment. no side has said that they dont want him here or that he doesnt want to be here. i wouldnt worry about it just now. pennington is here and he is playing very well. this team is on the turn around because of the effective qb play and solid line play. the offense on this team is 100 times better than the one we watched last year. henne is in a perfect position playing behind a seasoned vet and utmost professional in chad pennington.

Interesting observations about Beck and Henne. Beck is cool at QB3. Henne just wants to play now. I hope Beck has been learning how to be successful without a rocket arm. And I hope Henne has been learning how to manage a game and not turn it over. Actually that goes for Beck too.

Henne spends most of the game next to either Henning or QB coach Lee...I can't really tell but he's always next to a coach. To me he is always the most noticeable on the sidelines and whats funny is that he always looks like he's ready to take the field.
