I feel maybe this is what philbin maybe trying to do. If not I feel this is our best way out of this..............what ever it is. Maybe Sean Smith is next to be traded?

thoughts on the Philosophy of Philbin???

Wouldn't be surprised if we trade back in the draft and continue stock piling picks.

If this is the plan, Im actually down with it.

Get rid of all of these bums who actually have some value. Stockpile picks and hopefully turn them into winners. Its all about who you select with those picks though.

And that last statement is the key. I agree with the thinking that the correct way to win is to build through the draft. You see it in all the top teams. They all are a majority of their own people. But the main part, is to make sure you get the right people

Trading Smith would just create another hole and he's making peanuts. I doubt we'd get a 2nd back out of him so it'd be stupid

So we can draft more bums?

Philbin wants his guys and jeff goes and gets them. Thats what was said between them. Watch the video where Philbin was first hired and announced as our head coach. If you don't the team and what it does just give up being a fan. If not stand behind your team and support it. No one is happy with Ireland and Ross but bashing everything they do or don't do, past, present, or future won't help the cause. Philbin is a smart football man. He didn't call the plays in green bay but he damn well orchestrated every offensive scheme in every game. So have a little faith.

Im not for trading him however I am not a fan of Sean smith gettting beat on a streak which ends up to the WR scoring and that score ending up as the game winning touch down. ( thanks giving day) I am sure we can find a better replacement and honestly I feel there is one on this team in Jimmy Wilson. He played pretty well this year and I feel another year if he was pushed, he would be able to beat our sean smith.

We will and I kinda hope we trade down round 1 and start from there. Get two 2's, have two 3's, two 4's (sean smith)
