With the ongoing saga of free agency and the draft upcoming, I thought I would ask those here of what you think are Miami's needs as of right now. IMO, Miami has done decently with free agency thus far. They have hit a few spots of concern (LB, DB, OL, QB), but I would like to know what positions, even considering the ones mentioned, YOU think Miami still needs help.

Here's my order of concern:

1. DB - Safety in particular. I think if Miami can pick up, particularly, a FS, they'd be pretty set on D.
2. OL - Can a team really have enough O-lineman? Especially this one?
3. WR - What if (let us hope not) Chambers or Booker falls during the season?
4. LB - I initially thought this would be a concern (esp. OLB), but now that I think about it, Holliday, Spragan, and the new guy from the 'Aints settle me; though, Arrington would be nice.

Thoughts?

I agree with most of what you said. However, LB has to be 2. We have Thomas and Crowder who are sure to start. Hodge and Spragan aren't starters if your trying to play in the hometown SB. Chad Greenway will be there at #16 and is ideal, IMO.

No Arrington? Go linebacker.

When Arrington signs on thursday then:

1) Draft Offensive line first.

2) Wide receiver second.

Dream:

Trade down and draft Sinorice Moss.

Second Round pick I go after a damn good O-lineman.

Third round: Omar Jacobs or Brodie Croyle, etc..

the rest I fill with veterans, etc during June cuts.

WR, no doubt. You guys give so much credit to Booker and it beffudles me. We need to guarantee Culpepper's success, not just sit back and bank on it like if it's a sure thing. If Saban stays at 16, which he shouldn't, Jackson or Holmes is a must have. Let's give Pep as many weapons as possible to up the chances of making him a star again.

I vote O-line
