What a coaching staff Saban has assembled, but what was the one coach Saban didn't have much of a choice of? -- offensive coordinator. He kinda had to take what he could get there, and it may be hurting him. I see Linehan trying to run the same offense he ran in Minnesota but with none of the same talent. Frerotte and Chambers aren't Culpepper and Moss. I think Saban may need to have a talking to with his OC.

Some of Linehan's playcalling has been a little questionable but, he has been putting players in positions to make plays....the players HAVE to make the damn play...he can't do that for them.

Come on, we all thought the guy was awesome when the hiring came, I mean the seasonbegan and everyone was talking about how good this guy was and how he was going to end up as the head coach in Minnesota. I agree that he is not playing to our strengths, but you can't say he did not have much of a choice, this guy was supposed to come in great. And he might still be great (or not, I am not that happy about him in general) but had Saban brought in his OC in Baton Rouge, we would have been angry... I don't know what my point is, but I just think that we all honestly considered him to be good, so saying he kinda had what he could get is not possible (if it was just that he would have never given him a 800 000 contract) He got a guy that he thought was awesome. we all thought, it is dissappointing.

I like Linehan but he needs to run the ball more. The one concern in the offseason I had with Linehan was in Minnesota they Lead the league in Yards Per Carry, but they were near last in Yards per game. Ronnie Brown Running the ball 20 -25 times is a must for this team. Ronnie will win more games for us then Gus ever will. Gus is a caretaker at best.

by far Defensive Coordinator is the weakest link

BS.

You don't pass the ball all the time when you have a strength at the RB position.

A smart OC expects his RB to be able to get 1 yard on 3rd and 1.
Especially when passing has gained so little. A little balance between the two would not hurt at all.

Chambers is so overrated. On that deep pass Gus "overthrew" to him in the 4th quarter was Chambers fault. He was looking at the ball the whole time it was in the air. You cant run full speed like that!!! I thought Baggett (WR coach) would teach him the right way run after deep balls since Randy Moss did it so well in Minny. You're supposed to look up and locate the ball then bring your head down to continue running full speed and then look up gain to catch the ball. Chambers was looking at the ball the entire time it was in the air.

Linehan play callin is the exact same as mine when playin Madden05

What part is BS.

The fact that Marty Booker flat out DROPPED two passes tonight.
The fact that he could have fought for another yard to get a first down early in the game.
The fact that Gus flat out missed two open recievers for T.D's tonight.

Linehan is putting the players in position to make plays...the players are not making them.

I agree that we need to run the ball a LOT more but laying all the blame at Linehan's feet is incorrect...he is a SMALL part of the problem.

I don't know what to say... I thought our Coaching Staff was supposed to be our strong point this year...

The most important thing is that Linehan needs to see himself as a movie director.

You've got a lead role and two actors to choose from: Anthony Hopkins and Ahston Kutcher.

No Brainer.

You know Gus is horribly innaccurate and hasn't connected on one deep bomb this season. You KNOW Ron can get you 1 yard by taking the hand off, planting his feet, and falling forward.

So why call the 10 yard overthrow?

Why give Ashton the tearjerker scene?
