OchoCinco changing his name back to Johnson??

Good. I was never a fan of the name change. I usually try and refer to him as Chad Johnson when talking with friends.

Yeah, said he didn't want his new wife to be known as "Mrs Ochocinco"...I can see his point...

I know this was mentioned by him, but I am not so sure he is going to do it before the start of the season. I think even if he does change it, that he will be Ochocinco for at least this upcoming season. Just like he had to keep "Johnson" on his jersey for a season even though he was legally Ochocinco.

I wouldnt have given him Duper's number. I would have given him 81 so he would have to change back to Johnson or OCHOUNO at least.

Well, if I remember correctly, he wanted to change his name, but Nike told him he would have to pay for all the Ochocinco jerseys that were made. He decided to stick to Ochocinco. However, I assume that goes out the window when you change teams

He tried to change it last year but the NFL had already printed out all their Pats Ocho Cinco jerseys and he supposedly would have had to pay so many millions of dollars to buy all the jerseys before they'd print new ones. I wouldn't think this would be an issue now since he just joined a new team and they'd have to print new ones now anyway so if he plans on changing his name I'm sure he told them to hold the presses or to just print Johnson.

Yes, Johnson over Ochocinco ... change the name, and change the perception.

I wouldn't buy or wear an Ochocinco jersey if you paid me. I want the guy to to go back to being Chad Johnson if he's going to be on this team. Good thing his name isn't as terrible as Ron Artest's.

I never referred to him as Ochocinco. Also, seems like he wasn't as good as soon as he changed to that stupid name. Please bring back the Chad "Johnson" I know...

Show me 700yds & 8 TDs and you can put whatever name you want on the back of that jersey.
