OchoCinco changing his name back to Johnson??

He should - and do it post haste! He'll be playing not too far from his roots in Liberty City and Miami Beach Senior HS... where he made his bones as CJ; it's fitting as he moves into his professional endgame to resume that persona.

From a professional perspective the original name, in this case, Chad is a little like a diaper: you wear it upon entering the world and if you are lucky to live long enough to die a natural death, you're likely to wear it just prior to leaving also. :up:

i think if truth be told, SHE is the one who told him she didnt want to be "mrs. ochocinco".

not a real flattering name. chad doesnt want to appear whipped. and, just maybe, he is FINALLY growing up a bit?

i think of guys like cris carter and irving fryar who were first rate douche bags for a good part of their career and then they grew up, matured and dropped all the nonsense and became all about football. the results being their golden years were some of their finest. maybe we have this same sort of scenerio with chad?

our luch HAS to change some day, right?

Name change was a very smart marketing ploy. Football is entertainment and that name made millions...... Nothing dumb about that.
