OchoCinco changing his name back to Johnson??

Sounds like he might have indeed changed it back. He was posting today on twitter for people to call him Chad Johnson.
 
He could change his name to Bozo The Clown for all I care. What only matters to me is that he becomes a factor on game day - just catch the ball and zig-zag into the endzone.
 
I'm a fan of antics and all, but never really liked the name. Glad it seems he's changing it back. Perfect timing too, as he's finally coming home.

Who cares what he calls himself. It is his business. I just hope he plays well. Simple as that.

i mean its hard to say cause the competition at the position blows...but yes if i had to guess i'd say he gets cut...father time has caught up...he's way too much me first guy who will talk a lot but lacks the game to back it up at this stage...i'll put it to you this way...if the current version of chad johnson is playing a major role in this offense this season we've got some bad talent at the position...

people say his issue was that he couldn't learn the o in new england and i've heard a lot of that myself but when i watched new england and hell him in cinci the year prior it was very obvious to me that he'd lost a step and last year hell even when he was on the field no one respected him...he was manned up all over the place and couldn't make plays...brady didn't trust him and hardly ever even looked his way...he's washed up...i expect a camp cut on a hard knocks episode...philbin could use it as a motivation factor i guess... on a good wr core the current chad johnson doesn't even sniff the 53
 
I believe Chad's signing show's just how bad our WR corps is.

Signing Chad is both for talent competition ... but also political, in case the position collapses, they can say they're doing something with established talent.

Chad making the team is a huge unknown ... we don't even know the ballbark for Chad & the rookies ... & the existing corps is solid, but plough horse, not race horse.

Personally, I just don't envision a good outcome no matter what happens.
 
This may not even matter. I don't think he'll make it past training camp. Yes, even with this weak WR group.
 
here's one more thing...if the current version of chad johnson looks that beastly going up against our dbs in otas and the mandatory camp this week...well i'd start worrying about our dbs...

vontae at this damn juncture should be able to wear chad johnson like drapes...if he can't we got a damn problem... i'm sure sean smith is getting beat though...that's nothing new when it comes to man to man coverage skills...
