Ochocinco deal worth $925,000, with up to $2 million in incentives

What the hell, Chad renegotiated his deal with the Patriots and then he got released later? That's ****ed up, what player would want to re-negotiate their deals now after seeing what happened to Chad? That's a ****ing low blow.

Happens all the time.

Anyway, anyone who was concerned with signing Chad should have some of their worries assuaged now that he's signed for the absolute veteran minimum with no guaranteed money.

No state taxes in FL that helps, and if he doesnt make the squad or has a subpar season and retires....hey FL is the place to go to retire. what the heck off the top of my mind, im hoping he turns out to be the next irving fryer.....thats gonna be my next go to in any chad johnson thread

We basically did the same to Vernon Carey but instead of getting released he just became a free agent...but we shortened his contract.

Chad did fine in that renegotiation, he did get a $7 million signing bonus when he signed it.

the money doesn't matter...the fact the guys got nothing left matters...if he hits any of these incentives this wr core really sucks
