Chad plays better as Chad Johnson. Nah, doesn't sound that stupid. ;-) But I for one am glad that he changed it. I have always liked him as a receiver, but I hated when he became Ochicinco.

Really who cares about this stuff but what's really sad and is more of a story to me is how who ever is in charge of the NFL's facebook page, is making fun of Chad Johnson's name change and pretty much setup the fans by saying what will his name be in 2015, and about 95% of the replies was something offensive to Chad Johnson.

I disagree. I think that the name change is a sign of CJ maturing a bit and that he's ready to get down to business, leave the foolish stuff behind. I think that Chad is going to rip it up this year- time will tell, but the early signs are very promising imo.

If he was still with the Patriots it would probably be an issue due to jerseys already being made. Since he changed teams and they had to make new ones anyway, I don't see why they would have to.

If you change your name during the league year(which kicked off in March) you have to stick with the name you have until the next league year because they don't want to change the name on the jersey because the merchandise is already being sold. HOWEVER, if a player changes teams, he is free to switch his name. Since there were never any Ochocinco Dolphins jereys in production, there shouldn't be a reason he can't go with Johnson this season.

Why? All indications are that he's bringing some serious talent to a pedestrian WR core. I think that chances are good that he'll be our #1 WR this year, and be a productive one at that.

I don't know. It wouldn't surprise me if he ends up staying here for more than one year.

well then buy a jersey...i think he needs to make the 53 and show in pads first and foremost...but if he can't make this wr core i'm hard pressed to think of one he still can
