After paying attention to the free agent moves South Florida’s NFL football team made this offseason Bodog.com predicts the Dolphins’ will win a total of 7.5 games in 2011.

That puts the Dolphins right around the 7-9 mark the team has been at the past two seasons with Chad Henne as its starter following the miraculous 2008 season Chad Pennington produced.

So, 7.5 is the betting line they’ve created to take your money (if you gamble). Either you believe Tony Sparano’s team will achieve more than that, or you think the 2011 Dolphins will fall short of this educated projection.

The Dolphins have pretty good company in the land of mediocrity considering the Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers, St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs (a playoff team in 2010) also got a 7.5 wins prediction.

The Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, Seattle Seahawks (a playoff team in 2010), Washington Redskins, Oakland Raiders and Cleveland Browns are right behind them with a 6.5 win total prediction.

The Jacksonville Jaguars were predicted to win six games, and the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos were predicted to win 5.5.

I'm hoping for more being a Dolphins fan, but that is realistic considering the division we are in.

6.5 For Washington?!?!?! Holy S-it!!!!!! I gotta start gambling again and go with the under on Washington!! Like stealing candy from a baby, only easier!!

I just looked at the fins scheduele and i see 5 games they should win...So as the suck for luck ting goes if somehow the bills can win one game and the fins lose twice to the pats and jets..Looking good for andrew luck..

Vegas just predicted the end of this regime. Serves them right for failing to address the most important position in all of sports in their 4 year tenure. Bye Bye.

I figured south of 8 wins, but the question was whether they'd do 7.5 or be daring enough to go for 7.0.

Last year miami's over/under in vegas opened at 7. As the season approached it went to 7.5 and even at 8 for about a week or two right at the start of the season.

The year before it opened at 7 also

bang on

Miami will rise like a phoenix this year. If Murtha can solve the RT spot our OL will be spectacular, the run gain will jump start and we have better targets for Henne. I am assuming he won't HAVE to throw much. The D will rock if Smith comes through at CB. We will become the Hunter rather than the Hunted. Far fewer questions this year than years prior. It all starts when we bruise up the Patsies......
