Oddmakers set Dolphins win total at 7.5 in 2011

Never bet on your own team...

But since we've been 7-9, 7-9, and lost the last 3 games each season.. And lost some stupid ones like the pitt game and most of those 6 losses at the end of the season... I think betting over 7.5 is a legit thought. All you need is 8-8. Its possible right?

broncos, redskins, raiders, bills 2x( i know the bills always play us tough, but we are a lot more talented than them, especially on defense, we should win both) jets twice, that's 7 their, we should beat cleveland, thats 8 right their.

Yes, that's a safe bet, because the Dolphins always beat the teams they should. Oh wait...

It is true you don't bet on your own team, but I can honestly say that 7.5 is dead accurate. Sure Miami could win 11 games . . . I think they could also win 5 or 6. Much better bets to be had than putting money on the Dolphins this year.

true I would not touch that bet. vegas generally is pretty smart
 
No way, unless the season is a complete disaster the Fins win a minimum of 8 games. This team is hungry and has a healthy amount of talent.
 
I gamble pretty often on the NFL and college football. Not that that makes me an expert or anything, but I wouldn't touch that bet.
 
screw this crap. before the 08 and 09 seasons there was a ton of dolphins/jets talk and the pats were a little forgotten now its all jets/pats meanwhile we have moslty owned rex ryan and we ussually can find a way to split with NE . . we owned them last year before henne threw those 2 redzone picks and special teams collapsed. bodog records wanted me to "intern" one time here in jersey too . . place was a joke.
