No, it won't shut up any critics. If the Jets lose, it'll be "what's wrong with the Jets"?
Miami will not get any credit until everyone sees how the season goes and if Miami beats someone everyone is high on, like Atlanta, Kansas City, or New England midseason. Then everyone will say we weren't as bad as last year indicated and they'll blame poor coaching, off the field issues, and injuries.
