OK. So we know there will be some waiver wire oick-ups. How many, and who gets release?

I'm guessing the Dolphins will pick up at least 2 and possibly 3 off of the wire (OL. ILB, and perhaps another OL or ILB or "a best available ST).

I don't think Armstrong, Murphy, Moses, and Dotson got much sleep last night, but if any of those are relreased I hope they make it through waivers to the practice squad.

Just an opinion. What is yours?

I don't think Dotson is worried. He knows that if he is cut he will land on the practice squad. Murphy too.

I think Armstrong has to be the most worried. I don't think we will really keep 6 receivers.

armstrong, dotson, ndukwe, and ninkovich would be my 4 guys who need to sleep with one eye open.

the thing is the olbs i've seen released don't do much for me so ninkovich for now may be safe. dotson i think is gone when the regime sees dre moore is available if it's the kid just drafted out of maryland in like the 2nd round.

i think moses is solid right now on the roster.

both armstrong and dotson i think can be locked up to the p squad

My greatest concern about those two is, will they be able to clear waivers and make it to the PS? Either way, it seems lokely both will be playing somewhere.

Beck is indeed an intriuging chioce. My thought on him is he will be kept unless the Dolphis can; a) pick up a more attractive qb (likely) and, b) get something of value in a trade (not likely).

I would think Armstrong, Dotson, and Moses have the most to worry about if that happens. The only way we drop any of the O-linemen is if more are picked up, and even then the three I mentioned would still be my picks. Our OL depth is atrocious.

I would agree if there were more attractive QB's available. Maybe Quinn Gray. No thanks to Harrington, Bollinger, or the overhyped Simms.

Initially, I thought the Dolphins might keep 9 OL and they may still with a waiver pick up. If that happens, I think Armstrong would be on the hook. A more difficult question is if the Dolphins pick up 2 OL on waivers, what happens then?

My guess would be Dotson.

show me 2 olinemen currently on waivers that you feel we'd have interest in??? i'm having a hard time finding any. the cowboys i hoped would cut a solid depth tackle but they didn't.

our lack of depth at ot is very concerning. ndukwe is a turn style at tackle.

one of these 7th rounders we've acquired of late or a late pick may have to be shipped off for a mcquistan or another tackle in the near future.

I wish I could, but I'm not very knowledgable about other teams cuts as I am the Dolphins. I just don't have confidence in the depth the Fins have at OL.

However, I do believe if there are any OL out there in waiver land that would be an improvement, Sparano and Parcells will know who they are.

You add another interesting name to possibvle cuts, Ndukwe.

Maybe Willie Anderson, but I can't see much else.

agreed. i bet he's not healthy though if he was released. he's also a 10 year vet or something so we don't get first dibs on him. he's pretty much a free agent and can sign anywhere.
