Off-Season Moves

I'm not giving up all hope yet...Well..Actually...I'm giving up all hope. so...What do we need to acquire in the offseason to finally win this division? My hope is that we upgrade at the following positions:

1) QB - Ummm....Do I even need to go into this?

2) Center - It's time to end the Seth Mckinney Experience. PLEASE?? Has ANYONE EVER (not counting high school football) seen S. MaC blow ANYONE off the ball? I highly doubt it.

3) Right Tackle - You might not want to call Vernon Carey a bust....BUT I DO. He flat out sucks. McDougle? Just as bad.

4) Receiver - We need a number 1. Chamber is a 2 and Booker is a 3.

5) DB's - We need 3. Shulters is OK.

6)LB's - We need some youth here.

8) DE - we need another one to go with JT.

Just my opinion guys.

How many centers do you see blowing people off the ball? It is really hard to hike the ball and then push around someone who is at least 30 pounds heavier than you.

I think we should upgrade our fan base, this has its own thread in about 40 other threads stating exactly the same thing. QB and OL are lacking(Get off Carey he is in his first season with an OL coach), secondary is lacking depth. When Poole comes back Daniels will have a year under his belt and Madison isnt as bad as some portray(he is far from elite but he isnt garbage as some think). DE, are you serious we have Kevin Carter, Vonnie Holliday, and Matt Roth. We need ONE LB, and that one is to replace Seau(once he retires). Crowder and Zach have the other two on lock. We could use another good LB for depth with Spragan. As far as WR we can never fully understand CC ability until he gets a QB better than Jay Fiedler(which hes never had). This team is bad but if you are throwing in the towel already please go cheer elsewhere.

Good to see someone else has noticed this. Hes been having a decnt year. Nothing spectacular, but eficient.

Sidenote- considering were 1 game out of the division, im not ready to throw it in yet. 1 GAME!

1) eather trade up or trade for a chargers QB (there goes your 1st rounder)
2) FA center
3) draft a OT (there goes your second rounder)
4) you have a #1 WR, why dont yall see this??
5) you need a CB. FAs are to expensive at that position. just keep the ones you have and hope, when healthy, they will improve.
6) true, but good young LBs are hard to find. i say ride Seau in to retierment (i give him 1 more season, then sign a FA.

:eek: I cant believe that I am in agreement with a Jills fan. But this is correct, except for Junior having one more year. I think he is going to retire, and from what I have seen of Spragan he isnt the answer.
