Do you think the dolphins should go with an offensive or defensive minded coach based on the team now, and what should they do in the draft because of it?

Honestly it depends on if we kept Capers around, he has done a good job on the D, but he might not fit in someones scheme, but I would like to see an Offensive minded coach,

It shouldn't matter in my opinion. I think the most important aspect of head coaching is getting the players to beleive in what you're teaching them.....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

I think we need to focus our attention on offence and especially on the o-line. Hiring an offencive minded HC would be a very good step in the right direction. We already have a great defence that is well coached and coordinated by Dom Capers. It only makes sence to try to fix our almost nonexistent offence.
To have a championship calibur team you must get good production out of your o line. This is vital during the game to protect the qb and give him time to throw. A good run blocking o line will control the time of possesion and keep the opposing defence on the field and finally open up some holes for ronnie to run through.
Whether it be through the draft, trades, or free agency we need to focus our attention on the O-line.

In theory that sounds very good, but look how it turned out for us this season....:tantrum:

Exactly BK,we need the man who can motivate players to play at their optimum level,to INSPIRE THEM TO BE THEIR BEST.
in the draft my wish would be Tedd Ginn, put him on the outside, move chambers to the slot, let welker run around, give the rock to ronnie 20 times a game, let ricky be our third down back and i'll bet anybody on this board we will have a healthy daunte running and passing again, that my friend is a explosive offense that is reasonable to attain.

My dream coach is the man MIKE SINGLETARY for obvious reasons, first and foremost he's a man,not a punk who lets his wife call the shots, but a man that can inspire by just his presence alone,,i can truly envision him being our coach and what he would mean to our players.

I would like an offensive minded coach only if he is able to keep Capers as D Cordinator. Personally what I want most is a positive, motivated, energetic head coach with enthusiasm, passion and integrity. Someone like Mike Singletary.

Is Pete Carroll a defensive coach or more offensive?I don't know much about him.

Offense because thats wat we need i couldnt ask for a better defense i hope that we keep campers around we might really keep him around if he become HC i just dnt think he is qualified for the head coach job

If we do this right, we'll hire a head coach with an eye on the future, and one who will focus on both areas. The coaching staff will also be critical in determining our offensive / defensive output....

PHINZ RULE!!!

Offense HC for me. I'd like to keep Capers as our D coach but whether thats plausible i dont know.

Offense really should be our primary concern right now.

-We need a solid O-line, none of this "let's get better as the season goes on, only to remain sub par at the end."

-Teach our receivers to catch, or find some that can.

-DC is gonna be 100% healthy come the start of the season, granted we aren't gonna know what shape he's going to be in until he plays a few games, but he's back nontheless.

-If for some reason we do draft a QB first round I think the rest of our picks need to incorporate a linemen or two.

-Our Defense is fine for now, we can always search the Free Agent pool to tie up the loose ends there.

-Keep "The Joint" ((RW)) away from the joints. Split his carries with Ronnie and we should be looking fairly decent.

-Stay the heck away from hiring anymore College Coaches.

-Hire a younger offensive minded coach, who's hungry for a championship and is going to set South Florida ablaze.
