Offensive line Is Terrible!

The only good player on the O-Line is Jake Long ......Everyone else blows the second and third stringers suck as well. This O-Line will be the teams down fall this year. Tony will be packing his bags by years end.

The best LT in the league usually plays on that line.... Its not an excuse its a fact... take Revis off Jets's secondary, and what do their secondary looks like... same difference! just chill...

Seriously? Long is an all pro for sure but Pouncey is someone that cannot be judged yet. He looks pretty good thus far and with long could turn into a franchise center. Murtha shouldn't even be on the team but they keep him for some reason. The signing of turnstyle Columbo is absolutely baffling. Miami should have signed O'hara and moved Pouncey to guard and use him as the backup center if needed. However, I don't know how much good O'hara will be if he isn't signed soon going into the regular season. Also he has injury concerns.

Addressing your concerns, yes there is some reason to be concerned but mainly because of the injury to Long. Highly doubtful that Murtha will be starting on the line like he has been during some of the pre-season. The most concerning issue for me is the lack of punch by the line inside the 5 yard line.

I think some of the problems is the protection being called with Pouncey under center. He will get it together, it is a new offense there will be some growing pains but I see them comming together ..

Colombo and Carey are the problems. The rest of the line is/will be fine.

Difference is their is only 2 corners.. Oline still consist of 5 players. Our pass defense isn't whats makin me so worried its the Run defense. I do agree Jake Long will be a HUGE upgrade again, but we need help on the RG and RT spot even with Jake Long back.

Jerry is lucky to make this team. Did you watch the game ? They had Jerry in for a brief time at LT, he was abused, badly, by their backups, well our backups were in too thats why he was in. Just the same, its time to turn the page on John Jerry, possibly this week when cuts start. May as well start looking around.

Columbo did not look much better last week then he looked tonight. Tonight was a better defense, thats why he looked worse. Can you imagine him against the Jets, NE, wow, backup, ok, starter, no way.

this is not true. Carey should have been upgraded during this 'shell' of an offseason. The coaches knew it, so they assumed a move to guard for a player with zero agility would help. End result? He still sucks... I just want Carey gone, as far away from this team as possible. Good job Wannestadt. Imagine if he'd made the right decision and taken Vince Wilfork at #19, and the Patriots taken Carey at #21? Hindsight is 20/20, but all things considered, I can't believe Carey went above Wilfork...

And in your analogy, we actually have that problem, except our #2 CB. Sean Smith sucks ***. Sorry Vontae your "best CB tandem" statement will not come true, until we get a competent one to start along side of you.

Its all relative... Secondary consists of safeties and corners.... My point is the best player on our team, is not playing right now. And to think it wont make a difference when he comes back is just ignoring the facts...

Define first place... We didnt have the best LT in the league in the first place.... And whatever happens with Pouncey, he'll probably be top 5 in the position he ends up playin', and then again, not what we had in the first place...
