Offensive Line.....thumbs up

I actually think our offensive line is doing a good job. Think about it, they only gave up ONE sack. Last week they didnt give up one. I dont understand these people saying our O-line sucks....cuz they are doing real well.

We had no running game...

I don't think they were exactly stelllar today.

They did not do a very good job at all. Frerotte was hurried. They got zero push in the run game.

The one sack thing is more a testament to Frerotte hanging in as long as he could and consistently gettingg rid of the ball.
 
At this point, the OL is improving, and that's the good thing..have they gotten there yet, no, they have to consistently run block, but some of that is the eyes of RB...he'll learn.
 
pretty much every pass was a very quick pass. why are they throwing short passes? because the line sucks and they're trying to make up for their suckiness
 
hmmmm..."hey guys we aint gonna give up no sacks this week but we will make up for it with dumb**s penalties that will shove us further back on critical 3rd downs and we wont block for our RB's and get manhandled by Jets D Line but i will say it again we will NOT give up a sack!"
 
right... Houck may have taught them pass blocking, he now has to teach them how to run block.

Sorry, that will never happen. We need better players, specifically ones with special athletic ability. It's like in tennis where you can teach a guy to serve because it's technique and timing. But moving around the court and being athletic enough to run down balls is another thing entirely. Run blocking requires quickness and explosion and strength, enough athletic ability to counterract the superior athletes now manning NFL defensive fronts. You can't get away with lumbering, barrel chested limited athletes on the OL anymore, not even close. I've seen it change gradually for years. I still can't believe we passed on a guy with both feet and a nasty streak in Khalif Barnes.

Are you ****ING kidding me?!!! The game I was watching... from what I saw it was the same old ****....Chambers couldn't catch a ****ing cold. This offense was offensive.
