It seems like to me that no body watched the game? the oline played really well today... brown had 70 yards basically throught 2 and half quarters! and all those sacks culpeper had like 7-8 seconds to throw the ball trust me i tivo it and i watched every sack again maybe two of them were the olines fault culpepper sucked and do didnt the coaching staff i dont think it was that hard to see but i guess so?

the O-line was bad we have a huge problem....
This Just In: O-line is a factor !!! HAHA
See: Tampa Bay Bucs

Cpep could have lessen the sack total if he just got rid of the ball.

I would say in the first half the o-line was downright pathetic. In the second half we did give c-pepp enough time but he either made bonehead throws or our wideouts/tight ends did NOTHING to get open against a depleted buffalo secondary..

The OL didn't do that badly at pass protection but they were not good once again at run blocking.

*cough* sorry, just had to make an appearance in this thread, as I've been saying this for 4 YEARS!

We have had the second Worst O-Line in the NFL 3 years running.

3 years ago- Washington was worst.
2 years ago- Texans had worst.
1 year ago- Jets? Possibly us.
This year- us or Packers.

ofcourse we've been tinkering with the line alot... i have faith in the talent and size of the line... it just hasta come together... we need a core to work together year in and year out. This team really is rebuilding in disguise to most.

i lay alot of the blame on the O-line, but your right... wat happened to the mental clock ? at some point you hafta get rid of the ball !!!!!!!!!!!!! Pep threw the ball away ONCE !!! The way the online played he should have thrown it away more than that if the coverage was really as good as it appeared to be.

what game are you watching? i saw it there and watched it when i got home. the oline may have done better runblocking today, and ronnie mad emost of those yards the hard way, but pass blocking was horrible. the only time daunte had anytime was when we kept the tightends and fullback blocking as well, which gives you two recievers running down the field through double and triple coverages. the olinemen in their interviews even said they played horrible, so how do you figure they played well? maybe they played well if you are comparing them to oaklands offensive line, which we are somewhat better than at this point

They were serviceable today, not great but serviceable.
The OL is getting a bad rap on the sack total.
I'm going to say 4 never should have happened and were a result of CPep not being able to see open receivers and holding the ball way too long.

The blame on offense is shared and I mean SHARED between Culpepper, Mularkey and the OL.

Problems lay with each and every one of those mentioned.

All the blame doesnt belong on Daunte... but all the blame doesnt deserve to be placed on the OL either. Both were not where they need to be. The OL needs to give Pep more time. When Pep has time, he is dangerous... as shown when he picked apart the defense for his TD. They werent blitzing, and Daunte drove down the field. If we protect him, we will win.

However, Pepper also needs to throw it away sometimes, and get rid of the ball quicker. That pick was terrible.

Both need the OL and Pep need to step up next week...

How did Ferrote and even sage make it work with our line last year at the end? I would take Gus for Pep right now in a second.:fire: :fire: :fire:

Because neither one of them were coming off major knee surgery and hadn't played football in over a year.
