I dont know about the rest of you, but I really hope we get Pete Kendall so we do not have to start a 6th round rookie at LG...let Morimo get some experience and then throw him into the fire...

Judging by the last practice, this is the current starters

OC: Satele
RG: Hadnot

So what if Mormino is a 6th round rookie, that didn't stop Hadnot from starting 7-8 games his rookie season.

Guard is a werid position, unless they are amazing you usually dont see them go real early like Fullback, Tight End or Saftey, so seeing a Guard drafted late and coming in and eventually starting and being solid isnt all that unlikely, it seem likethere has even been a lot of undrafted guards tearing it up over the last 5 years

I say he's a lock to start somewhere but maybe(just throwing this out there) have him at LG an Ingram start at C??????? I don't know much about Ingram but I haven't heard a ton of resounding faith in Liw or Morm at LG and that's one of the reasons they like Satele so much was his versatility right?

I don't think Samson is a lock to start at Center, but I think the position is his to lose. And by lose, he'd have to play absolutely brutal, and Jonathan Ingram or Drew Mormino would have to play extremely well at the center position. Now, there is a chance that could happen. However, I think Samson will struggle early on, but will really get going by the midpoint of this season. If we were to get Pete Kendall that would certainly accelerate his learning curve, IMO.
