looking at our skilled players on offense all i can say is wow. if, and i mean big if, they all stay healthy we have a chance to be one of if not the top offense in the league. here is our lineup at the skill spots-

WR:
David Boston
Chris Chambers
Marty Booker

TE:
Randy McMichaels

RB:
Ronnie Brown
Ricky Williams

those are some serious weapons. there are three things that can hold us back:
1.Health-hopefully everyone stays healthy for the most part.
2.Oline-this right here alone can kill us. but if we stay healthy we should be able to hold the d back.
3.QB-if 1&2 checks out ok there shouldnt be much of a problem here. if so all the qb's on the roster must go. Feeley has a great chance to make a good career for himself. experience issue is over. its time to playball.

whats everyone's opinion on the offense and what players would u like to see the most on the field at the same time?

here is mine:
QB-Feeley
RB-Ricky Williams
RB-Ronnie Brown
WR-Chambers and Boston
TE-Mcmichaels
OL-Carey,James,McKinney,Hadnot,McDougle

we could do alot with these guys on the field at the same time. im exicted for this season. many options and many weapons.

Keep dreaming. If this offense can crack around 15 Linehan/Houck should get yet another raise. The OL needs to make huge strides along with Feeley. Brown would have to show he is an elite running back rookie phenom. Chambers would have to show he's able to be that dominant #1 WR.

i dont think its much of a dream. if the oline plays good it has a real shot.
if boston is healthy he is a number 1 wr. chambers would be a great number 2 and booker would be one of the best number 3's in the league. Randy is one of the top tight ends in the league. even if ronnie isnt ready right away we still have ricky who is one of the best. i dont see where its impossible with these weapons. i know there are some ifs but im talking potential.

You know what's funny is imagine that after the 2002 season, someone told us that we'd have Chris Chambers, Marty Booker, and David Boston at WR, Ricky Williams AND a #2 overall draft pick at RB (6'0" 230 pounds, runs a sub-4.4 and was called the best receiver in the draft), and Randy McMichael at TE.

My god, you'd think, holy crap...we'll have the best offense ever!

I mean, here's what these guys looked like coming off the 2002 season heading into 2003.

Chris Chambers...had a sophomore slump after phenomenal rookie season, but still had 100 receptions for 1,617 yards and 10 TDs in the last 2 seasons.

Marty Booker...just came off a two-year stretch where he caught 197 balls for 2,254 yards and 14 TDs.

David Boston...came off an injury-filled season in 2002, but had 1600 yards receiving in 2001.

Randy McMichael...coming off a great rookie season where he really showed he belongs among the top TEs in the league

Ricky Williams...coming off a season where he rushed for over 1800 yards.

Rookie RB X...he runs a sub-4.4, he weighs 230 pounds and shows tremendous power running, and he was called by Jon Gruden the best receiver in the draft, period.

Could you imagine? I mean, man.

thats what im talking about. plus we have a QB that can make all the throws in Feeley. its honestly up to the line to give him time.

If the OL gels this year then the offense will be VERY good. But I don't think that they will be the best in the league.

Best offense IN THE LEAGUE? Not even close, you will rank from 15-20th IMO

sadly that would be a huge upgrade. Especially if they are 15th.

That is yet to be seen. I still dont think he will even start.

15th wouldn't be too bad.

A lot depends on the play of the QB. I feel pretty comfortable that the Oline will make large strides this year

Yup 15 would be cause for celebration.

Everyone expecting this miracle OL overhaul needs to give their head a shake. There will be improved play but were having to count on Carey to blow away the competition at LT and for McDougle to play well at RT and McKinney to step it up at center.

Feeley has a lot to prove and I do think his play will improve along with the Olines. Question though is by how much.

Around 15-17 is as optimistic as one can get before being just dang blinded.

Agreed and being at that level with a significant drop in offensive turnovers would be HUGE imo.

The best offense in the league? Nobody knows what type of running back RW will be after the year off, Ronnie Brown is a rookie, and one of two Qb's who could not start for just about every other team in the league is most likely gonna be the starter. If David Boston is healthy I think he'll be a good addition, but who knows what's gonna happen with him. I think Linehan is one of the best offensive coaches in the league, but it's gonna take time for the offense to get turned around. Offensive and Defensive rankings are overrated IMO, the stats that I think mean much more are points scored/points given up, and turnover differential. Denver was ranked pretty high in defense and offense last year I believe and noone really considered them a legitimate contender.

I agree.. The only big problem im seeing this year is in the DB's
As far as Offense goes I think were all set as long as you give Feeley time to throw the ball he isnt a bad QB. I mean look at the last couple games last year he played Pritty good. I think he will win the job over Gus.
P.S. Feeley if ur reading this Your GIRL Is HOT !

If we have about the 15-19th offense, and a top 10 D, 9-7 is very realistic.

But I see that as the ceiling.
