Right now, honestly it is no contest Ronnie Brown is the clear leader for Offensive ROY honors.
He's got 544 rushing yards on 114 carries, 114 receiving yards, and 3 TDs.
The whole Caddy-Ronnie question takes on a whole new dimension since Cadillac is the next likeliest candidate for Offensive ROY honors despite his injury.
Caddy has 467 rushing yards on 112 carries, 11 receiving yards, and 2 TDs.
Nobody else even comes close. Braylon Edwards has like 200 yards receiving but I think he's fighting injury issues.
Mark Bradley is a guy who I would watch out for to make a late-season push for the ROY honors...but he still doesn't pose a threat to Ronnie or Cadillac.
This is still a two-man race for ROY honors, and I think Ronnie is going to take this one hands down unless Cadillac gets back on track in a hurry. He's be ineffective in two games, had three great games, and has spent another two games rehabbing in the weight room instead of playing on the field.
Without this turning into another Ronnie/Caddy who should have been drafted first thing...does anyone else see any other guys coming up to challenge for ROY honors?
Kyle Orton MAYBE if he lights the world on fire for the rest of the season and continues leading his team to victories...the wins would get him the consideration more than anything because it is viewed as extremely hard to win a lot of games as a rookie QB.
