Good morning brothers. I was wondering what we could do to fix our offensive struggles? Is Coach Gase calling the plays? If so could Coach Christensen call the plays to take that weight off of him so he can manage the team better? I just see the need to open this offense up with some unpredictability. Are we not mixing it up enough with plays and personnel because Jay is still new with this group of players? Or are we just playing too conservative and putting too much pressure on the defense?

Gase said Cutler can handle no huddle. So either hes lying or he doesnt want to run no huddle

I think Gase is trying to put the cart before the horse with the no-huddle stuff.

Let's get a working offense first, then we can worry about tempo.

There are a lot little things (running the ball, using Grant, less WR screens, etc.) we as fans can clearly see needs to improve. The common link to any of those being successful is the offensive line. We must be better at the point of attack on both sides and we must block better for both Jays. Not sure if Anthony Fasanos' presence has helped the running game?

Better prepare, better focus. The jets lost was on mental mistakes, not lack of talent. It is Gase job to cut it down.

I think we run too much on first down and 2nd and 5 or less. It's too predictable.

I would go back to smashmouth ball and run it until the D gives something. Remember, last year we looked all out of synch until we figured out how to sustain drives w a run-first mentality.

I don't think it was the run-first mentality. The offense started playing better when they went away from the no-huddle and took their time to get set. Obviously it's some players or position groups that have problems when we don't huddle.

Cutler lacks the mobility to make up for the poor play of the OL. The loss of 17 pretty well doomed the season.
