I say we offer WR Wilford, a DL like Wright or Vonnie, & (as much as I love him) RB Ronnie Brown to Az. for Boldin and a 4th to 6th.

I think CP throwing to TD Teddy & Boldin with RW, Cobbs, and Parmalee running behind our o-line could make us scary good.

I was and still am pretty reserved to building slowly, but after watching our teams progression this preseason so far, I think this move in no way would compromise our building process and would make our team a contender this year.

Not enough If I am AZ I am saying sorry I need 2 first round value. He is going to play his contract out and not be a problem for us.

I counter with I will take Ronnie Browm (mid to late first value IMO)

and Two seconds, both this year. Or one this and a conditional next that can elevate to a 1st if Boldin catches 80 balls this year

A 3rd and a 7th or a 3rd plus Wilford.

Boldin is ranked the 17th Best WR in the league. He is also the second best WR on his team (behind Fitzgerald). Wilford ranked 35th best last year.

i'd be fine with wilford and holliday, not ronnie tho. because esentially we are giving up wilford for boldin, then we are getting rid of holliday who in all likelyhood wont be here after this year anyways. i'm sure that wouldnt get it done, but as others have mentioned, you need two backs these days, and i dont know if any of our back ups are good enough to be a part of a two back system yet, plus ronnie is very valuable not only in our running game, but our passing game as well.

I doubt Arizona would take Ronnie head up for Boldin much less the other offers.

I'd offer Ronnie Brown and a late round pick for Boldin. If they want more I would say SORRY. When Ronnie is healthy he is as good a back as anyone, but right now he is looking like he will have a career like Fragile Freddy Taylor.

Can we merge these freakin Boldin threads please.. From the thread title I actually thought we offered something for Boldin!!! Annoying

im glad you arent GM

Ronnie is worth more than boldin alone. Boldin is good but not an elite WR. to offer Ronnie, Vonnie, wilford for Boldin and a late pic...i dont think so

its gonna take a first rounder to get this guy. not a 3rd and a 7th and some scrub d lineman. people be serious! and ernest wilford???? WE DONT EVEN WANT WILFORD!!!!!

Not a chance. Ranked 17th, despite only playing 11 games. 2nd on his team only because Fitz is a freak of nature.

Boldin would cost us.

That depends on what else they have been offered. If he says as he is saying now that he will not play for them, then they get what they can, not what they want. A disgruntled player can be a big problem in a lock room. Better to get what they can than let him sit out a year. Look at Barry Sanders.
No freaking way on earth we would dream of giving them Ronnie and picks, or even Ronnie straight up. A 2nd and mabe a player, or a 2nd and 4th maybe, but they are the ones needing to make the trade not us. But that is yet to be seen. If it comes to that then there is a chance, but as of now it is just speculation that they need to trade him. As of now they are willing to call his bluff, much like Cincinnatti. We will see how it shakes out.

It is foolish to trade Brown right now, with Ricky one test away from a ban for what would amount to life that would leave only Jalen Parmele and that is just not acceptable.

Wilford = ok Bown = not ok. I am sure if Arizona really believes Boldin is going to be such a disturbance they have to move him they will work a deal that favors them. If Javon Walker gets traded for a second, Boldin's value is at least a first.

I'll up it to a 3rd, 6th, WR Wilford + DL Wright + S Renaldo Hill. No first or second rounder from me, though.
