where are the gusketeers?

they went into hiding.

defend your boy.

He is playing against the BEST DEFENSEin the nfl in 04 returning all of there starters.

Only game up 258.4 yards a game last season top in the NFL. Not to mention playing in sloppy conditions and having a dropped ball or two....not all that bad.

The first half has shown us:

1. We still can not run between the tackles
2. Our tackling is still sloppy
3. Our secondary is still be good even without Surtain
4. Teams are gonna blitz us all season long
5. Teams are gonna run up the gut against us and wear us down
6. Were gonna need a LOT of Youkon Jack to get through some of the games this season.

Yeah but larry chester might be playing. That'll shore up the middle a touch

Absolutely! Gus sucks. He is a back-up not a starter!
but the problem is aj isnt even a backup. hes a 3rd stringer....at best

Ummm...so you are agreeing with me and telling me to relax? i must be misunderstanding you or you are misunderstanding me. I guess I'm just saying to relax because it takes time, kind of like you are. I am relaxed.

I'm saying that we don't necessarily have to wait until next year (as you implied).
It may take a matter of weeks or a month. This offense could certainly begin to click much sooner than next season. I'm not worried yet.
Saban didn't game plan for this and Pittsburgh has one of the top defenses in the league. In addition, the style of defense they play (multiple blitzes) requires offensive game planning. In a base offense this defense will eat you alive.

Because he has the arm and can make all the throws. If he can learn to side step, scan the field to look off safeties and go deeper more often he'd rock. He's just so used to his WCO background that he dumps off a lot. Last year he tried to dump off to no one because Dave refused to have a hot read to dump off to!

So, AJ is trained to nickel and dime it down the field. So, if he's given time, maybe he'll evolve into something decent. At least, that's what we hope.

That's why I'm for him. He's not my favorite QB or anything but look at the alternative. Gus cannot take us where we want to go IMO, and what he lacks he cannot learn. AJ lacks poise, awareness, locks on etc. All things that can be learned. HE can throw, which is what cannot be learned. He may not learn the things he needs but we have to try to let him because the alternative is...well. It's a long shot but that's better than no shot.
If the coaches choose Gus, I guess I'm with it, but I hope they go for the chance that Feeley can do it. We're gonna draft a QB next year anyway if Gus starts, and we will if Feeley sucks, so why not let the guy play?

I'm gonna duck now...

You know, I wouldn't argue with this the way Diamond has played. Let's see what he does in the second half.

I agree with McMike slipping to second, make him earn his spot back over the next two games.

While I'm not watching, why is our tackling sloppy?
Also, not sure why we'd get worn down, we have some beef in the middle.
We haven't seen Ronnie run yet, we aren't game planning so we might not have all of our blocking packages in?
As for the alcohol, I can't ***** scream and holler if I'm drunk, I'd just fall asleep.

imagine if "touchy" feelings threw a 42 yard pass over the middle....lmao the steelers would probley have 6 defenders all intercept the ball at the same time

Yeah, I'm aware it could happen faster, but if not, well it will happen soon enough.

- He's a small Vietnamese family away from playing shape. Wouldn't count on him.
