He is playing against the BEST DEFENSEin the nfl in 04 returning all of there starters.

Only game up 258.4 yards a game last season top in the NFL. Not to mention playing in sloppy conditions and having a dropped ball or two....not all that bad.

Like Gus or not, you can not defend him tonight. I'm honest when AJ blows it, you can at least do the same when your guy tanks. Sloppy conditions haven't been a problem for AJ, so you can't use that excuse.

but the problem is aj isnt even a backup. hes a 3rd stringer....at best

Gus is a PROVEN 2nd stringer he has had a chance to start for at least a season. AJ has way more upside than Gus

that's not fair. there were a ton of dropped balls.

Its not fair Feeleys blocking has sucked in his time in, his rb' has fumbled penalties have killed his drives its not about fair this is a team game fair has had nothing to do with this qb competition!

Anybody know how long AJ plays in the second half. At this point I would just leave him in there for the entire half

First off he is not MY GUY secondly he is playing against the BEST DEFENSE IN THE NFL and still managed to move the ball down the field.

Talk to me after he has attempted a pass over 5 yards get back to me then.....a wait he did attempt one and he missed luckily for him a roughing the passer bailed him out on that play.

That's why I'm for him. He's not my favorite QB or anything but look at the alternative. Gus cannot take us where we want to go IMO, and what he lacks he cannot learn. AJ lacks poise, awareness, locks on etc. All things that can be learned. HE can throw, which is what cannot be learned. He may not learn the things he needs but we have to try to let him because the alternative is...well. It's a long shot but that's better than no shot.
If the coaches choose Gus, I guess I'm with it, but I hope they go for the chance that Feeley can do it. We're gonna draft a QB next year anyway if Gus starts, and we will if Feeley sucks, so why not let the guy play?

I'm gonna duck now...

I agree with you completely.
