****OFFICAL Dolphins vs Steelers GAME THREAD****

Well, I got to watch the game. Folks, nothing went right for us tonight. There was no reason we should have had 7 fumbles, that is just unacceptable even for a preseason game. Not that many bright spots tonight. Here are some quick things of notice:

1. While Feeley had a good completion %, he didn't really look that much better then Frerotte. I honestly felt Rosenfels had better command of the offense.

2. Boston looked good. He looks like he could have a good year.

3. McMichael was HORRIBLE. He couldn't catch anything. :shakeno:

4. Secondary played better then past weeks.

5. Other then the big 39 yard run by Parker, the Defense looked pretty good.

6. Welker could have another big year. He had some good returns tonight.

7. Gordon did better then last week, but nothing to right home about.

8. O-Line has good plays, but seem to collapse on some. They have a hard time with blitzes.

Think Saban has trouble making cuts this week? Or like the announcer says, will he have trouble not cutting too many?

- Good call. Great Avatar. Do you hate the Calvin p**ing stickers? Ticks me off.

Well Nick now you see what happens with this team when you reward them by cutting two a days down by a week. They pay you back with a game like this. Go back to two a days !!!!!!!!!!!!

You remember in Full Metal Jacket when the Gunny Seargeant made that one Marine march with his pants around his ankles and made him suck his thumb???....well Nick needs to do this to every guy who fumbled...then make these guys run pukes with a brick held in each hand above their heads...maybe then they will get focused. :yell:

Well let see positives are easy to see...

Defense...

We still have a great one...and once we gameplan it will be better...

Offense...
toooooo many dropped passes...

tooooooooooo many fumbles...hopefully when it does come down to the regular season we will execute properly...

Gus took chances down the field... still locked on to the receivers at times... stats would have been better if his receivers caught the ball, and his OL blocked for the running game... but Pit was # 1 against the run...

AJ played what was given to him... by making quick decisions... the ole WC Offense... still has last year's syndrome... needs to have a little more faith in his OL... also had no running game...

STILL ONE THING... NO GAMEPLAN...
