Official 2012 Miami Dolphins Schedule Thread

NFL screwed us again. 4 of the first 5 on the road and then 3 of the last 4 are on the road, 3 straight road games early in the season but we don't get 3 home games in a row.

You either need to stop watching fox News or at least get your facts straight before you make such a blatant statement as if it's factual.

Where Your Tax Dollars Go.

Unemployment insurance
2.3%
Food and nutrition assistance
3.7%
Housing assistance
2.0%

So why aren't you getting mad at the Millitary Industrial Complex
National Defense
24.9%

Or the private healthcare indusrty that's raping you from every which way possible. But yet you think he's this big socialist.
Health care
23.7%

Dude you really need to try and START watching Fox News. Our entire military spending last year while fighting two different wars was $692 billion. Our total government spending was $71.684 TRILLION. Sorry dude but that is no where near 24.9%. It isn't even 1%. And don't try to start blaming health care spending on anyone BUT this administration. Once you add the obamacare disaster, and add social security that little 8% you have as the only redistribution of funds (socialism), jumps through the roof. But don't worry, we will have that socialist back on the first flight to Indoneisia come Nov.

None of what you just wrote is true. 3 of the first 5 are on the road. 2 of the last 4 are on the road. There is no stretch of the schedule that includes 3 straight road games.

I really hope we can get our FIRST win against Houston...I don't don't mean first of the season but first against that team EVER!!! Going 1-0 to jump our the gate and finally beating that team will really bring a smile to my face.

Uh it's football, which is MEANT to be played in the cold. Wish we had more cold weather games so maybe our team would be tougher

That game against Kansas city in 2008 was one of the coldest games ever played in the NFL, and our offense looked like one led by Tom Brady. I'm not scared of our fins and the cold :)

So, how many blackouts will we have this year?

Well if it wasn't for the loophole which allows TV affiliates to buy up remaining seats for .34 cents on the dollar we'd have almost every home game blacked out. We'd be as bad as the Tampa Bay Bucs last year who led with 5 blackouts in 2011 -- yes that's the sorry state our franchise is currently in! Let's face it folks, we are bottom of the barrel. Why would we deserve a MNF game right now?

"The number would be much higher but the business partners of the Dolphins including the CBS affiliate in Miami stepped in to buy up remaining tickets for 5 games this season."

3 on the road and 3 at home before the bye actually to start the season

Anyone else see the 3 key moments of the season by NFL.com?

All the other teams are just talking about games and how important they are. The Dolphins? Basically it is an excuse to bash the Dolphins. They list the first Bills game as one our three main games because it determines who is the worst team in the AFC East. Also lists the Jaguars game because it determines who the worst team in Florida is. Basically a huge slap in the face. At the same time they predict Miami as being 4-2 going into the bye week.

There's also this:

8. Tennessee Titans at Miami Dolphins (Sunday, Nov. 11): Lest the people of Jacksonville think I'm favoring the Dolphins (for whatever reason), fear not. Miami faces many great challenges these days. Right now, things are so bad in Magic City that the Dolphins might want to hire Ozzie Guillen away from the Marlins just to stir things up. Just kidding, my many Cuban-American friends. But let's face facts: The Dolphins have a home schedule that will be almost impossible to sell to the public. Aside from the traditional AFC East games, the Dolphins host the Titans, St. Louis, Oakland, Seattle and Jacksonville. There are people on the management side who wonder if they'll have more than 35,000 people at some of those games.

And this:

Toughest schedule
Joe Philbin, Miami Dolphins: It's not so much the four improved NFC West teams they'll face. It's their own division, the AFC East, that makes 2012 a tall order for Philbin. As of today, they're heading into the season with Matt Moore and David Garrard at quarterback -- or a rookie to be named later. Not the formula for knocking off Bill Belichick.

And the good news is that the Dolphins are guaranteed to play their first two home games on a full-turf field -- no more dirt infield!
