Official 2014 Draft Thread (Round 4-7)

As for today's selections. I'm hopeful Hickey can find CB or Safety help. I don't trust Delmas to stay healthy for a full season and am scared to death of the lack of depth and experience at CB.
 
I hope Trey Wingo is not the guy on ESPN today. I usually go to NFLN anyways on Saturday.

Good move, ESPN starts to focus on back stories (ala Bob Costas in the Olympics) on Saturday. You won't see many picks.

I do ESPN on Thursday because I actually find the combo of Kiper/Berman/Gruden entertaining. The switch to NFLN started yesterday.

You saw right about the Bob Costa's like stories. Plus, they will pimp the NBA today. Who do they think is watching this part of the draft. Show and analyze the picks. They will be all over Michael Sam too.
 
I really would like Andre Williams RB (Boston College) here in the fourth rd, that guy can tote the rock, great short yardage back.
 
I could believe I left out Brock Vereen. I just cannot catch a ball, but he will be around the ball.

Yea this Hickey cat is pretty nimble. I'll bet we see at least one or two more trades either up or down. Nice to have a GM who knows how to play the game.

i'd like to see a RB/kick returner. A solid QB like Murray (and his sweetie). LB and CB to compete with what we have and play special teams.
 
I see some decent CB's that could push Will Davis available and they have potential to help down the road. However, I think the team thinks that are okay at corner. Grimes is locked in. They rave about Taylor. They believe in Finnegan. Jimmy Wilson played well in the nickel last year. Will Davis? Not sure…but they might say these corners are not that much of an upgrade over him (I vehemently disagree with that) but I could see them saying that.
 
If I had to guess think there going to try and get a QB, RB and TE as UDFA or like 7 rd so that means defense and maybe one more OL
 
We could use a thumper at tight end. Clay is a play maker, but Egnew is useless and dion simms didn't exactly impress in his rookie outing.

Damn I was just going to ask how did Wingo get a job at ESPN talking about the NFL....he is horrible and has the personality of a dead fish. He and Chris Berman make ESPN hard to watch.
