Official 2014 Draft Thread (Round 4-7)

seems like Philbin's "Green Bay South" is becoming more of a reality thanks to a GM that's actually listening to him. Could be a lot of targets and weapons for Tannehill, I think the ball will get spread around a lot, and hopefully much more time to throw with the additional pass protection

Looked pretty good at the Combine....love how he tracks passes.

Ok, another smallish WR. Competition is good, but what about a S, DT or ILB???

S- They must be happy with Delmas and Jones.

DE- Odrick is solid inside

LB- Wheeler and whats his name do concern me.

I'm under no illusion that anyone we draft at this point is a prospect and likely special teamer. WIth that said, they usually like Safeties and LB's in those roles and the guys we have in some of those spots are a little ???? But hey, whatever, at this point it's really a crapshoot anyways.

The bio I read said 6'1. Funny how they have it so different depending on who covers them. IF closer to 6'3, then not so bad.

I saw him listed as 6'3" on another site, but NFL.com shows him at 6'1" 198 pounds. That's probably correct.

How did you confuse 6'1 and 6'3? That's a difference of 2 inches.
Bad tape measure? LOL

Mel likes his body control, tracking the ball going vertically, good hands, decent speed, dominated that level of comp.. Broke all the school records. Mel approves of Hazel and thinks he'll make the team.

However, with all the RBs available, I'm amazed we haven't selected any. The only reason I can speculate on is that Philbin, Benton and Hickey believe our #26 running attack as is, was more attributable to the OL's shortcomings than to Thomas's and Miller's own schizoid performances. Also possibly they see more ipotential n Mike Gillisee than they've let on. Regardless, based on last season, it's a glaring need that should have been addressed beyond Mor
eno.

I have to believe that they like enough RBs that may be UDFAs, such as Wilder, who may not go drafted due to his 4.86 40 at the combine.

That's a shocker, NFL network giving much love to the Pats draft AGAIN !!
