That play happened because X was sitting on the short route thinking Cam would need to get it out quick (as has happened recently). Problem is that Carolina did a great job picking up the blitz and nobody got home for Miami. That’s one of those risks taken with this defense, but it has worked for us thus far generally.

In 1993 Miami didn't give up any sacks in the 1st 5 weeks. Then Marino goes down against Cleveland. The Browns sacked our backup 6 times in the 2nd half of that game. Comparing anybody to Dan is just useless.
