Yes, there are multiple playoff threads full of hypothetical's and yes, this game is mentioned amongst those threads. However, I think tomorrow matchup deserves its own thread that strictly only pertains to tomorrow's Christmas night matchup out in Arrowhead.

My thoughts: Denver is going to be a very angry team tomorrow out for blood for two big reasons. 1, KC best then in the Mile High city late in an overtime thriller and 2, The Broncos players have been at each others throats the last week. All of that points towards a team that is going to be looking to rip KC's head off. And that has me
very nervous.
 
my thoughts exactly. home field will help but man that is going to be a war, cant wait to watch
 
It's just concerning that so many people are writing the reigning champs off. That's surely going to have them motivated.
 
Kansas City should be mad too. They've lost 2 of their last 3 at home including a 19-17 heartbreaker last week against the Titans in which they led 14-0 at one point and blew a 10 point 4th quarter lead. It's going to be a fun and interesting game to watch regardless. KC wins we're in...Denver wins we're the #5 seed but no clinch yet.
 
Tomorrow is a gigantic game for Miami. Derek Carr has a broken fibula, so Matt McGloin is going to QB Oakland in the finale at Denver and in the playoffs. There's no chance Oakland wins anything with him. The game tomorrow has to go Miami's way otherwise beating NE is an absolute must.
 
For some sick reason...I want Denver to win so we can be 5th seed.

If we lose to NE next week...then we're f*cked...but I think we're going to hurt NE. I mean seriously hurt them.
 
We need Denver to lose. We can't take the chance. Our defense was horrible today. I don't believe we're going to give up 552 yards to NE but hard to believe we're going to score 34 on them either.

If the mods/admins are okay with it I can whip up one of my game threads for that game tomorrow night. I know it's not Dolphins, but I feel like this game is the most important non-Dolphins game in years.
 
I have family that are Broncos fans. One is blood but the other is a best friend. I promised him I would root for the playoffs to go down to week 17 so... I guess go Broncos until further notice. If they lose, I won't be upset, but it would be nice to have a reason to want to beat New England. Always a good time... late season Pats games within the division.
 
Cannot rely on beating the patriots, have to hope for a chiefs win...just get in the dance
 
Evenly matched teams with coaching going to Reid. It's at the Chiefs, so I'm saying they take the win.
 
I think it's going to come down to QB play. Denver has a great defense, but Alex Smith has played decent the last few years. Siemian, on the other hand, is just a stop-gap for Denver. He's not that good.
 
We definitely need the Chiefs to win tomorrow.

If Denver wins and it comes down to Week 17, we will HAVE to beat the Patriots. With Oakland losing Carr today, we can't rely on them to beat Denver to help us out. And since Oakland still pulled off the win today, NE has no reason to let off the gas facing us.

That Carr injury really screwed us. Makes life 10x easier for New England and everyone else in the AFC West.
