Kenny. We have an offer from a fellow member to send us a CD of the Pats game so we can rip it.Here is what he said.

If he wants to send it to me by mail I can rip it and upload the torrent. Let me know who it is an I'll send him my address via a PM.

Its going to be revised next year i hope. I'm working on a tracker system for just this site and will be in touch with Crunchtime. I also hope to offer standard definition (1.5 Gb) and high def (2.5 GB) for downloads.

Just wanted to say THANXS to Crunch and everyone else who puts these torrents up. I downloaded the Ravens and then noted that it kept uploading for about 12 hours afterward (guess this is good, no?).

Once I learn more perhaps I can help out from abroad.....

Cheers

It was a team effort. We started doing it from the first exhibition game.Medieval capped the first three games. Then Jaxdolfan did for the rest of the season. Now Awing Pilot capped the Ravens game. Thanks to you all.:)

We have found out that Murphys rule has been present with our efforts so there has been a learning curve involved. We should go into next season with a rotation of cappers so that we will always have a backup copy if anything should fail.

The Cappers are important but so are the seeders. We have had a good group of seeders who have made it possible with their combined BW to get the torrents quickly and we have been able to accomodate the latecomers as well .Great job guys.

The important thing is that we make a concerted effort.I have no problem with having two torrents for the same game.We can continue to offer the smaller Divx compressed games.Keep in mind that these torrents where originally oriented towards members who live overseas and who have no access to the games. The smaller size gets the game quicker to us.

We later found out that there are some members who like to have their games on their PCs as well and there is a segment who want to have better quality videos for their collection.

The problems we have had with quality have more to do with the connections of the standalone capper than the compression.Obviously an internal card with direct Audio-Video connections to a Sat. feed will yield better quality.

However I recognize the need for better quality especially for the classic games which I trust we will have quite a few of in the future :) .So we could offer two or even three torrents. That way if someone has a problem with one we will always have another copy we can access.

The same applies to the trackers. They often have problems so we need to have alternatives.I like the idea of a Finheaven tracker but we should have alternate sites just in case.

I was checking on that game and it was one that wasnt started until the second quarter.(The cap that is ).

Sporticus ;to upload the torrent you need a program called Maketorrent. The upload is easy. You just need to include the tracker info into the torrent file that you create. If you dont want to bother with that you can mail a copy to Kenny Stang who lives in Texas and he can do it.We have had requests for games and I have uploaded them only to lose contact with people who requested it.So if there is anyone who still wants the Steelers game please post on here and we will make the effort to upload it.:)
