Explain this to me? Is this something you do during the game, stream video for those who cant see it, or is it something you do for after the game, and folks can download the game when its over?

Its geared towards members who have no possibility of seeing the games because they live overseas or live in remote areas.Some people just like to have a copy on their PCs.



What we do normally is someone Cap the game and then we upload the game on a torrent site such as www.lokitorrent.com .We supply the information that is needed in this thread and members can download it at their leisure.Its strictly post game.Streaming is illegal and hard to do with todays technology

Thats pretty cool! I like that idea. Streaming would be a good idea too and its not all that hard to do. As far as it being illegal; it's not any more illegal than what your currently doing. There is just more loopholes with the download.

We started doing it from the first exibition game.We have gotten better at it and can compress the entire game to a 600 meg file.It takes between 4-10 hrs to load depending in your setup.However we would take an uncompressed file if it came to that as long as its under 2 gig.

BTW the Pats have copied our idea and are upping their games on torrents too.
 
The programs that I have (WinDVR and PowerVCR) have the ability to program into the future...only when I ask them to do it, nothing happens. I read in a discussion board that XP requires some kind of task rights. Sheesh. I got software that wants to auto update every 5 seconds pissing me off...it certainly has "rights" to xp.

As far as the remote thing, that is interesting. Too late to do it today, but that is cool. What program can do that? I have a firewall at home, but I assume that can be dealt with.

Also, as for TiVO...I have no idea how to d/l TiVo to a PC. I always cap the game with my pc connected to the audio/video outs of my DirecTV box.

It may be too late today but we tried.Funny thing we had more support from Bills fans than our own.Maybe the Bills fans will upload the torrent.If so I will look out for it and post it on here.

Anyway if someone can give Jax an aswer to the XP problem we would appreciate it.

the xp rights thing doesn't make any sense.

If i can schedule a defrag on my comp w/executive diskeeper, he should be able to do it w/his program..

A program used to do a remote connect is called Remote Desktop Connection..

You need the local IP and a un/pw

Aparrently, it is not too hard to get rights to run a task, but the software that I tried does nothing once the record time happens. I have tried several types of capping software and couldnt get any of them to start recording at a set time.

We didnt get any volunteers to cap the game this week.

BTW the games that is listed on lokitorrent is from the first Bills game.
