I still think Miami signs a receiver before the draft.

When you consider the linebackers that have jobs, Spikes must be a real piece of **** to not be on a team yet. Its not like he cost much.

Word is he was late to meetings in NE and some players on the Bills did not really like him so you are correct, that seems to be part of the problem.

Spikes reputation is not good...why hes still on the street...having said that there comes a time for teams where dire circumstances win out...for him its probably after the draft or a camp injury

### Veteran receiver Hakeem Nicks, who would make sense for Miami to consider, would welcome Dolphins interest but as of late last week, was waiting to hear back from the Dolphins while planning other visits.

The Dolphins want a veteran receiver who not only would produce, but also set a good example for the younger receivers. Michael Crabtree, Greg Jennings and Wes Welker remain in the mix. Jerrel Jernigan and Santonio Holmes are among others available.

### Cornerback Charles Gaines isn't the only Louisville defensive back with whom the Dolphins have spent time. They also brought in safety Gerod Holliman.... The Dolphins’ draft search has included multiple calls on a former standout rugby player in New Zealand (BYU running back Paul Lasike).

Because he has a better chance of looking smart by correctly guessing a player that Miami ends up drafting if he lists 13 players instead of 6.

Wow... Umm, no I don't even go back and look at my mock after the draft.

It!Mateo....question ( I'm new to Mock Drafts)...why do you have 2 mocks side by side that don't look anything alike. Know there is a reason !

I made one if we happened to trade down and another with the picks we have now.

Normally, I laugh at the conspiracy **** but ...

A Patriot and a Steeler RB duo get pulled over in Pittsburgh doing a Cheech and Chong impesonation, and ... ONE GAME?!? :bobdole:

I'm not going out on a limb here but NFL may not even be significant in 10-20 years due to **** like this... Following a similar path to hockey and baseball.

Poor mans Charles Clay, probably a better blocker though, better hands too.

He's like the TE version of Borland in a lot of ways. Super tough and always does everything right for the most part, but lack of size/athletism holds him back.

I recall a ridiculous sideline catch and a one handed circus grab of which he created 10-15 yac. Hard to beat Clays hands for the most part. Out of 50+ receptions he only had three drops. One of the lower drop percentages in the league. I know haters wanna hate but Clay is a playmaker. Good luck to us (one of the worst tackling teams in the league) trying to tackle him (if we stay at status quo).

One thing I do greatly agree with the majority of finfans is that it is totally and completely laughable that the Bills made him the highest paid TE in the league.

Because Bell was driving....

Because everything the NFL stands for, which is representative of Blount getting one game and Bell getting three. I've had the same discussion with a number of people outside this board. It's turned into water cooler talk

I'm not sure what you're trying to say? I agree that usually pats players get special treatment but in this case not really.

Blount - possession
Bell - possession & likely a dui. Stiffer legal consequences therefore stiffer punishment from the league

Former #Bears and #Giants DB Zack Bowman is in Miami today for a #Dolphins visit @RapSheet

Per @PFF, Bowman was strong in coverage last year, leading the league in catches per snaps in coverage (once every 18.6).

I wasnt knocking his hands as much as the fact I think O'Leary catches the ball cleaner.

Clay is one of mg favorite players, he's a big loss, he was our only real playmaker on offense. I def think buffalo overpaid, but I also believe they plan to get him the ball 10 times a game. They don't want whoever the qb will be to stand in the pocket for long. There going to hand it off relentlessly, and dump it to clay non-stop IMO.

It will be interesting to see how effective Clay is after his mysterious knee injury last year, also the fact he won't have Wallace clearing out the defense. If you re-watch his tape from 2 years ago, The amount of free space Clay had to operate was insane, a major part of that was due to Wallace, not a defender in sight.

Bowman would be a great pickup. Makes corner not a pressing need round 1.

Him and McCain are definite upgrades over last year in Finnegan and Wilson.
