Ok we all know Ginn was jammed at the line and had safety help on play he got some separation.

So here is what i say.

GET GINN IN MOTION NOW!!!! move him around confuse the defense. Do what the broncos did with royal put him in the full back spot get him some screens move him from outside to the slot HELL put him in the RB position ANYTHING. He was misused last year and was misused in the first game. do anything to get him in some space PLEASE!

I guarantee you that's how the Pats would use Ginn.. Put Ginn on the Pats, and he would become a STAR by being a SICK Motion receiver all day long.

I hope one of the trifecta reads this. Ginn should be your motion man ALL DAY LONG and twice as often on Sundays. Oh and Ronnie Brown should ALWAYS be in on 3rd down. The guy is a master at catching the ball and YAC... Have a TALL WR like Wilford or London with their strength against the jam on the outside, have Ginn in motion with the sure handed Camarillo (or Bess) as the 3rd WR in a 3WR set, and have Ronnie in the backfield, with Fasano at TE, we can be a potent 3rd down threat.

Misused? His draft pick was misused....by taking a returner and asking him to become a great receiver...is a reach at best.

Now we hear that the fast receiver....our savior is not being use right....he should have a running start to get away from all those bad corners...:lol:

We had a guy like that....his name was Welker.
 
I'd like to file a petition to make this the official "PUT ERNEST WILFORD ON THE FIELD TO CATCH JUMP BALLS IN THE END ZONE" thread, as well.

did you say ginn got jammed at the line.... wasn't this one of the knocks on this guy pre draft " yes" he was a reach .... he is not a number one wr .... wilford should be in there.... someone who has weight to fight for the ball
 
I just don't know where to start with Ginn... He didn't even attempt to jump for that ball in the endzone. So F'ing lame. He simply got OUTPLAYED on Sunday. Thats why IM suck of the youtube college clips. Sure he looks great against guys who will never sniff an NFL field, But here with the big boys.. they are merely avg... and Ginn is in a positin of sliding below that.

I hear London has speed, let's see it.
 
GINN IS NOTAND WILL NEVER BE A NUMBER ONE RECIEVER. It sucks we wasted such a high pick on him... God there was so much better talent available at the time. oh well, hopefully he turns into a goog slot and kcik returner. Thats all he'll ever be...

check yourself...wilford has the weight to fight for the ball, but rarely did in training camp. he cant even catch when he's open.

ok i'll give you that... but ginn is still not a #1 wr and an over paid kr/pr at best ..

That overpaid kr/pr is still our best and most talented receiver. Also with regards to getting Ginn in motion, they need to do something. They having him running deep routes, just like last year, and they still can't get him the ball to him. He's sort of like Chambers in that they need to hit him in motion and on the run. Having him complete a route and have to wait for the ball is not going to work because most of the time the db covering him will be taller and stronger than he is. They might as well just play him in the slot from now on as the deep ball doesn't seem like it will be a part of our arsenal anyway from now on. At least until the other Chad is starting.

yes, he is our most talented receiver. with that being said, there is not one other team in the league where they would consider him a #1 if he was playing for them.
 
It was his first game in his 2nd year. He was totally misused last year so you could almost call this his rookie season all over again.

They did misuse him Sunday. During the preseason he was catching short passes over the middle. Finding soft spots in the zone. Sunday he ran deep on almost every play.

What would help is using a 3 and 4 wr set. We went max protect with two TEs and only 2 WRs. Get Ronnie involve and we'd have 4 or 5 options for Pennington. If you want to proctect your qb dictate what you're going to do. Don't let their D always dictate.

I'll give Ginn more than one game. Don't forget, this was Pennington's 3rd game in this system. If we can get to the bye at 1-2 I'd be happy. The early bye helps this young team be able to evaluate and make some changes where needed.
