Tua time!
I wasn’t making a joke. I really wanted his point of view on what his progression should have been.
I don’t really want to speak to that completely unless I can see the play from the side view and see how the defense played it and tbe protection/ all route concepts was called.
However I will say it looks to me like the inside receiver is running a clear out to the middle of the field taking his defender with him on the ball play side and that the outside wr is run into open space inside. That’s usually the case when you clear out trying to create space for the option beside you. But when I see that pitre sitting inside there pre snap to me I don’t care if the play is designed to go there I need my qb to come off of it and work the other side. If you look tua looks to his intentions side slightly pre snap he’s just eye balling it and then post snap he looks opposite side (no doubt to influence coverage assuming a pitre is gonna flow inside with his eyes before coming back to his intentions and pitre running under them. However I think tua tbinks he’s gonna have that window there cause he also misread the coverage at the los pre snap. He expects that inside safety to vacate.
That’s my read on it. he worked the wrong side relative to the coverage cause of a misread primary which lead to a post snap mistake
If it’s not a misread then it’s the definition of a force. I lean more to the former. The outside db is dropping off there so they trying to get him to throw to that option after the clear out breaking inside. I guess in some ways I might call it bait if I could see it from the side more and verify
