He’s come a long way from preseason, he needs to develop more, but he’s making good progress.

It ain't the line bro...Ballage isn't fast on the field. He isn't elusive. He isn't agile. He isn't instinctual. He's big and yet he plays softer than RBs half his size.

What thing am I missing that will make him a stud?

Never said a stud. Announcers have said "no where to run" almost every time he gets a carry. He won't be a stud. He'll be better with better run blocking.

I've seen him taken down by single defenders repeatedly where NFL caliber runners would be shedding them and getting 4-5 more yards. Every RB is gonna have some plays with no room to run but it ain't every play.

I'm not gonna even say we would have a good rushing attack with another RB the way the line has blocked today. But we've average 2 YPC and nearly anyone could have gotten 3 YPC today.
