You know, I think Tua is just really good at throwing the ball just out of reach, most of the time, of the defenders. When the guys around him are better than everyone else, he looks like a stud. When they're not, he looks pedestrian.
Maybe that's why he underthrows Hill all the time. He's not throwing to him; he's throwing the ball just past the defenders, or between defenders. He does that pretty accurately. Maybe if he was taught to throw the ball, accurately, to where the receiver will be, in bounds, he'd impress people more.
That's why he doesn't wow anyone. If his guys are wide open, he gets the stats. When the coverage is tight, not so much.

C’mon, are you serious? They cannot get off the field.
But he said the Fins were going to the Superbowl earlier. He just goes crazy about everyone.
He’s had great things to say about Wilkens and others too…give Herbert is due, I know that’s hard for some on here!
I don't know why people don't see the difference in one guy throwing mostly screens and short passes and another guy is being asked to throw downfield nearly every single play for the second week in a row.
