D is keeping us in the game

Except for Howard, the defense has played much better in this half. Yet the defense at the end of the first half basically gave the Chargers a TD they shouldn’t have had.

Of course I want to win but it seems pretty doubtful that we'll amount to anything at this point, considering its obvious the book is out on our offense and no amount of that being made obvious has caused the offensive staff to adjust anything.

I don't think the book is out. We've had plays available, but we haven't made them. The Chargers aren't respecting our offense, and they're stacking the box. When they don't, and we actually run the ball, we get yards.
