I really believe coach McD has a problem being “simple” on the offensive side of the ball. Sometimes that’s the best strategy.

I pray if our tackles are clearly struggling he realizes this early and appropriately adjust.
LOL...... We have, arguably, the most dynamic offenses in the league for the first time in nearly a half century, and you want to "dial it back"??????

You are tough to satisfy brother........

NFL players, even backups are paid to be prepared at all times.Excusing any player who has to come into a game to play when a starter is injured by saying he is un-prepared to play is ridiculous.

If any player on the active roster is un-prepare to play when called on to play, that player shouldn’t be in the NFL to begin with.
First of all, the backup is by definition, a worst player than the starter, if that worst player isnt practicing with the players he's going to play with in game all week, it puts him even further out... Not rocket science

Yes! When your starting tackles are out and your Qb is getting folded like sheets against one of the worst teams in the league in Houston. Now you’re facing a much better front.

The only reason Im nervous right now is because the line keeps getting bigger... My honest opinion here is that SF's results are skwed by playing the most amount of their games against weak teams... Some gamblers like it when the line disagrees with them and view it as more value... This is BS, alot more time than not, its an opportunity to lay off and reflect on what you're missing, because the whole ****ing world is disagreeing with you. And Sunday line moves arent done to protect from casual bettors, there's big smart money coming in late on the Niners.

Maybe, but you were referencing the past, and how you thought McD was making mistakes. No problem brother, just a bit comical.....

That's a really oversimplified and, quite honestly, BS view. Unless you are really lucky every player on your offense has different things they excel at and are gonna gravitate towards different things to succeed. If you are calling the same plays and the same strategies for every player and expecting the same results, you aren't a good coach.
There is nothing oversimplified in expecting a player to be prepared to play when he has to go into the game.

It appears to me you just want to make excuses for players who come in and aren’t prepared to play. Obviously coaches have to play to the strengths of the players they have on the field but that doesn’t mean backups can just come in and play like they did nothing to prepare for the game. Because they didn’t think they would have to play in the game.

The whole concept of ,”next man up” is that the backups can come in and fill in effectively if the starter goes down. Unfortunately some backups are much better at coming in and filling in for the starters than other backups are.

The backup offensive tackles are a huge weakness for the Dolphins. Hopefully McDaniel has been able to come up with plays that will cover for their inability to pass protect or open holes in the running game .

You can like the job that McD is doing overall while admitting that passing the ball about 80 percent of the time in two games without his starting QB was a terrible idea, and that the decision to pass the ball against Pittsburgh late was also the only thing that required the game to come down to a third year epic bust making an interception in the end zone.

McDaniel's offense is explosive, but when the going is tough the absolute only way he will ever win or lose a game is through passing the ball.
