I remember way back after his first season I was always making it a point of emphasis that he needed to take a Zach Thomas like approach to studying football just as much as on field work as it would help accelerate his development in being able to read defenses ....glad he did exactly that....football is as much mental as it is physical in many aspects...physical traits can only take you so far when the strategic elements come into play
