Official NFL Power Rankings: Week 7

ESPN PR: Week 7 action should provide more intrigue as the Vikings visit the No. 8 Pittsburgh Steelers, who vaulted five spots this week. The Saints visit the No. 20 Miami Dolphins in another matchup that could affect the future elite hierarchy.

They should have moved us to 18 ahead of the Jets, but with that blurb it sounds like they're expecting us to put up a fight, and possibly win, and move us up a lot of spots.
 
yeah, i bothched the browns thing. been known to do that on occasion. :(
 
15. Miami Dolphins (2-3) (last wk #16) They look more like last years Dolphins, but with the Saints marching in they’re still about to be 2-4.

I hate when these sportswriters write you off. I hope the Dolphins go out and shock the world!
 
some of The big ones havent written us off totally. CBSsports said The Saints need to be careful not to have a letdown in Miami
 
if miami wins this week, they will still get no credit, because all these clowns will come up with excuses like,'' o the saints prob took the fins lightly, or'' they were looking ahead to atlanta.
 
Why is it that Sportales is the "Official" NFL Power Rankers? I have never heard of Sportales before this thread. :ponder:
 
if the dolphins win this week, 1) it would have to be a game in which they dominate time of posession and 2) it would make me a believer.
 
who cares what espn thinks, we all know are teams rankin....#1 c'mon yes we are ...#1 in south florida lol
 
we will be 2-4 after sunday, but still, we are getting respect.

it wasn't too long ago we were the worst team in the NFL
 
Well.....i'm one of the ones that thinks you guys should be ranked higher. I'm not a big fan of rankings myself. The only reason they don't have you higher is probably only because of your record and not your actual play as of late. I can say as a Saints fan , i know we're ranked #1 but we really don't care about that down here.
And trust me when I say this , I can't speak for the team itself , but me and the rest of the fans are not taking you guys lightly. We're scared to death of you guys. We know the records, but we're not dumb. We seriosuly are more worried about you than we are of the falcons......cause lets be honest......Atlanta sucks.
But i hope we play an awesome game with you guys and you don't wildcat us to death. I can't pull for you on Sunday , but i'm sure you understand, after Sunday though, i hope you continue to get better and take down the crap that is the jets,bills, and pats.
